At Romancing the World Travel we are passionate about personally experiencing our amazing world and curating travel experiences so others can do the same. We have been assisting clients for 16 years with planning their vacations, honeymoons and destination weddings.

Researching and understanding all the requirements of traveling in our current health climate and pandemic world situation makes our services even more valuable.  Vacation planning takes hours of research and because time is precious, we would love to give it back to you. I am happily married to my best friend Steve and in the last 40 years together we have seen lots of the world. Steve was active duty in the Marine Corps for 30 years which afforded us many travel experiences. Moving 20 times during our military career and tagging along on some of his military assignments, our thirst to see and explore the world became a passion!   I became a travel advisor in 1999 and then in 2007 ventured into the romance market – specializing in destination weddings, honeymoons and romance travel.  In 2014 I added luxury travel to my list of specialties! I love assisting my clients, whether they are celebrating milestones in their relationships, traveling with friends and family, or adventuring by themselves.

Steve and I have a world map with pins of all the places we have been, which inspired my logo. Some of our favorite places we have traveled include Europe, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Tahiti, Iceland, Israel, Mexico, the Caribbean and Tanzania. Our bucket list is long, and I’m always working on plans for our next adventure!  When not out exploring our amazing world or planning travel for our clients, you’ll find me playing with my sweet grandloves.

Administrative Assistant

Emily is my administrative assistant and a master at organizing and keeping me straight! She is a wife, mother of 3 and a very experienced traveler in her own right. She was born in Japan, grew up in the US, lived abroad in Berlin for 2 years post college and has traveled to some amazing places in her lifetime. A few of her favorites include Italy, Ireland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Austria, South Africa, Nepal, Ukraine, Mexico, and many spots in the Caribbean.

Even with all the places she’s been, she still has a list of places waiting to explore! So, knowing her story I knew she would bring more than her amazing ninja admin skills to our team! When she has a free minute, you will find her curled up with a cup of coffee and a good book to read.
